I’m pleased to share that the first episode of the Hargreaves Marketing Podcast is now live. But rather than just say “out now,” I want to reflect on why I’ve started this series, and how it connects to what we do at Hargreaves Marketing.

This podcast aims to highlight those moments, and to encourage professionals and business owners alike to approach them with the right mindset and tools.
Why a Podcast?
On a personal note, I’ve always had a deep interest in business media. During my career, I worked for specialist media organisations and contributed extensively to in-house business magazines — back when most media was still print.
Now, I’m excited to be creating in the digital space: podcasts, videos, interview recordings and other formats that bring ideas to life in new ways. This isn’t just about producing content — it’s about providing practical, relevant support to business professionals who care about their careers, and SME leaders who want to invest wisely in developing their people.
Looking Ahead
The first episode looks at a common dilemma many SMEs face: the balance between accepting what is and striving for what could be. It’s a theme that sets the stage for the series to follow, where we’ll cover readiness, mindset, team development and commercial excellence.
